If so, we are adding a strategic, innovative, and self-sufficient leader to our growing team as our Loyalty & Digital Marketing Manager, serving as the right hand to the VP of Marketing. This individual would have complete control and authority to drive content development and strategy across Mitten Extract’s digital ecosystem.

The Loyalty & Digital Marketing Manager (LDMM) leads the strategy, development, and execution of Mitten Extracts’
Mitten Club loyalty program
, with the primary objective of increasing customer retention, lifetime value, frequency, and brand advocacy. This role will own and evolve the full loyalty ecosystem — including member acquisition, engagement, rewards strategy, CRM communications, and performance analytics.

Approximately 80% of this role will focus on loyalty strategy and execution
, with the remaining 20% supporting broader digital marketing initiatives
, including organic social, email/SMS, and web content execution.

The LDMM will bring a data-driven mindset combined with creative thinking to build meaningful consumer relationships, deepen brand affinity, and drive measurable financial impact through retention-focused marketing.

Loyalty Strategy & Program Leadership (Primary Focus – 80%)
  • Own the strategy, growth, and optimization of the Mitten Club loyalty program
    , ensuring alignment with financial targets and brand objectives.
  • Develop and execute initiatives to drive:
  • Member acquisition
  • Purchase frequency
  • Retention and churn reduction
  • Lifetime value growth
  • Create and manage loyalty campaigns, promotions, tiering structures, rewards strategy, and exclusive member experiences.
  • Build segmented CRM journeys across email, SMS, and other owned channels to nurture members throughout the lifecycle.
  • Partner with Sales, Retail, and Marketing teams to ensure loyalty integration across in-store, events, product launches, and brand activations.
  • Support experiential marketing moments (events, sponsor ships, product drops) by developing loyalty-exclusive offers and activations.
  • Monitor and analyze key loyalty metrics including:
  • Active rate
  • Redemption rate
  • Purchase frequency
  • LTV
  • Retention & churn
  • Lead development of monthly loyalty reporting and insights to present to the CMO, identifying opportunities for optimization and incremental revenue.
  • Manage loyalty platform vendors and external CRM partners, including briefing, timelines, budget oversight, performance tracking, and optimization.
  • Own loyalty budget management and deliver against annual financial targets.
Digital Marketing Support (20%)
  • Support development and execution of the broader digital marketing plan in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Oversee email/SMS calendar in partnership with Content Creator, ensuring loyalty integration across all communications.
  • Support holistic brand storytelling across organic social, web, and owned channels.
  • Monitor key digital metrics across channels and provide insights to improve efficiency and campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with outside web and SEO agencies to ensure loyalty integration across digital touchpoints.
  • Contribute to organic social strategy and content calendar, with loyalty and retention messaging as a core component.
Joint Business Responsibilities
  • Shared responsibility for delivery of volume, share, profit, retention, and brand health goals.
  • Represent the brand at trade events, consumer promotions, sales meetings, and with retailers and customers as needed.
  • Be an active participant in Mitten Extracts culture, living our principles and inspiring others to do the same.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Marketing, Digital Media, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience in loyalty marketing, CRM, lifecycle marketing, or retention-focused digital marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience building, managing, and optimizing loyalty or rewards programs (retail, CPG, beverage, or cannabis industry experience a plus).
