Production Supervisor - St. Johns Area

Salary Range: $60,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

• Supervise daily production activities to meet output targets and deadlines.
• Manage, train, and develop production team members, including scheduling and performance evaluations.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and specifications for all manufactured products.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor production processes for efficiency, identifying and resolving operational issues and bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and planning departments to optimize production flow and resolve issues.
• Track and report on key production metrics, including output, downtime, and scrap rates.

• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop production teams, including performance management and scheduling.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and production planning principles.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring adherence to quality standards and procedures.

• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt preferred)
• Proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) or manufacturing execution systems (MES) like SAP, Oracle, or Plex
• Demonstrated experience in data analysis for production metrics and root cause identification
• Prior experience in a related technical role such as Quality, Maintenance, or Process Engineering
