Mechanic - Plainwell Area

Salary Range: $46,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

• Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical breakdowns of production machinery.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment malfunctions to identify root causes.
• Install, commission, and calibrate new industrial machinery.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including LOTO.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage accurately.
• Recommend and implement improvements for equipment reliability and efficiency.

• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical systems.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong understanding and adherence to industrial safety protocols (e.g., LOTO).
• Technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or a related field.

• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and basic programming.
• Welding and fabrication skills (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick).
• Knowledge of CMMS/EAM software for work order management and asset tracking.
• Certification or experience with HVAC and refrigeration systems.
