Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine welding specifications.
- Operate various welding equipment (MIG, TIG, Stick) to join metal components according to precise standards.
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and parts by cutting, shaping, and welding materials such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
- Inspect finished welds for quality, strength, and integrity, identifying and correcting defects.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of welding equipment and tools.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company regulations, utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Measure and cut materials accurately using saws, grinders, and other tools in preparation for welding.
- AWS D1.1 or equivalent welding certifications.
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
- Demonstrated ability to weld various materials such as steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Experience with advanced welding processes (e.g., TIG, Robotic Welding).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex blueprints and welding symbols.
- Experience welding a variety of material types (e.g., stainless steel, aluminum, exotic alloys).
- Ability to perform basic fitting, grinding, and fabrication tasks.
- Familiarity with NDT (Non‑Destructive Testing) methods and visual inspection criteria.
