Production Supervisor

We are looking for a Production Supervisor for a small frozen‑berry processing facility supporting major retailers in Bloomingdale, MI. This role will oversee daily production, safety, quality, and act as the onsite lead when management is remote. This is a hands‑on, floor‑focused leadership position in a cold‑environment food processing setting.

Job Logistics

Shifts / Hours: Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Location: Bloomingdale, MI

Tools/Tech: PPE, GMP processes, forklift (preferred)

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee shift attendance, workflow, productivity

• Lead floor operations in manager’s absence

• Enforce GMPs, food safety, PPE compliance

• Maintain safe, clean work areas

• Complete injury logs & incident documentation

• Coordinate with maintenance/contractors

• Provide coverage as needed (forklift, machine ops, QA)

• Support seasonal production ramps

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years production or supervisory experience

• Background in a Processing Factory or the Food Packaging Industry

• Great knowledge of HAACP and understanding of GMPs, food safety & basic Workers’ Comp

• Comfortable working in 5–7°C cold environment

• Spanish‑speaking strongly preferred

Compensation

Compensation: $65,000 to $70,000. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
