The purpose of this position is to serve as a hands‑on Production Quality Engineer and Launch Quality leader within injection molding operations. This role ensures product quality and process stability by actively supporting daily manufacturing, resolving issues in real time, and establishing robust controls during new product launches. The position drives defect prevention, continuous improvement, and adherence to customer and internal quality requirements.

- Actively work on the production floor solving quality issues as they arise.
- Dual focus:
Support both Production Quality Engineering and Launch Quality initiatives. - Work directly with Quality Manager:
Partner closely with the Quality Manager to implement improvements, troubleshoot issues, and drive quality initiatives. - Drive results:
Ensure products meet or exceed quality standards through inspections, testing, and process improvements. - Problem solver:
Take ownership of issues, troubleshoot in real time, and implement practical solutions. - Collaborative impact:
Work closely with production, engineering, and cross‑functional teams to deliver quality products. - Continuous improvement:
Identify opportunities to optimize processes, reduce defects, and support successful product launches. - Growth mindset:

Effectively documents findings and communicates updates and solutions.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing and injection molding processes; prior hands‑on experience is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC concepts.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset and willingness to take ownership of issues.
- Demonstrated curiosity and eagerness to learn new standards, processes, and equipment.
- Adaptable and versatile; thrives in a fast‑paced, lean organization.
