Material Handler

Our client, a leading organization in the industrial sector, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the warehouse support team, assisting production and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Clare, MI

Pay Range: $16.50

Shift: 4 pm - 12 am
overtime is scheduled prior to start time and can be heavy, including Saturdays

What's the Job?

• Support production associates by receiving, dispensing, and maintaining inventory in vertical storage units and on the shop floor
• Utilize the ERP system for all inventory transactions ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Assist with maintaining optimal inventory levels for vertical storage units (VSU)
• Pull non-floor stock components for work orders, including printing labels as needed
• Operate forklifts and other approved equipment to transport materials between departments

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of forklift operation experience
• Valid driver's license
• Basic math skills for inventory management
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly
