Position:
Production Training Coordinator

The Production Training Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating, evaluating and improving training programs across all departments/shifts to ensure all operators have the knowledge and skills to perform their role within the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Work with subject matter experts, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure training content is relevant and aligns with organizational goals.
  • Monitor training program to meet goals and make implement changes as needed to meet department and plant goals.
  • Coordinate cross‑training and upskilling initiatives to support operational flexibility.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training for each department based on monitoring employee performance and feedback.
  • Identify opportunities to improve trainer skills for individuals and training teams, providing continuous development for trainers.
  • Lead management meetings with new hire trainers to communicate daily goals, identify potential issues and determine a path to resolution.
  • Maintain constant communication with new hire trainers, monitoring daily activities.
  • Accountability to ensure trainers are utilizing leader standard work and required training materials.
  • Ensure supervisors follow the training plan for each employee.
  • Provide feedback to trainees on progress and complete performance reviews during training.
  • Deliver newly trained operators to the production team with acceptable efficiency and quality.
  • Select and deselect trainers based on trainer capability and performance.
  • Support implementations of lean manufacturing, Hoshin Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives through targeted training.
  • Act as a continuous improvement advocate for the training program by identifying areas for improvement and tracking to resolution.
  • Maintain accurate record‑keeping of training matrix, documents and activities.
  • Manage the tools and resources needed to meet training requirements.
  • Follow all other procedures and processes while maintaining safety and quality.
  • Prepare and participate in internal and external audits related to training.
Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in management, business administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in learning, development or training role.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position entails access to export‑controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
