Job Overview

Job PurposeResponsible for full goods put‑away of all products from the palletizers and supplies for finished goods. Assists with warehouse operational activities such as receiving raw materials, loading dunnage trailers, case pick, finished goods load out, inventory cycle counting, chemical receiving and other duties.
Responsibilities- Reports to and follows direction of Warehouse Manager and Production Supervisors.
- Safely operate a variety of forklifts and other industrial equipment.
- Put away all product palletized from palletizers in proper location in neat and orderly fashion.
- Maintain correct First In First Out rotation of products and inventory of supplies.
- Ensure all finished goods orders are properly shipped and documentation registered.
- Check incoming full goods orders and consult with management if inventory insufficient.
- Accurately pick case pick orders and register documentation.
- Determine inventory placement of dry and raw material orders; consult if no space available.
- Keep warehouse clean and orderly; follow Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).
- Ensure supplies and inventory items remain 18” from walls.
- Keep warehouse audit ready at all times.
- Conduct monthly and yearly inventories.
- Assist palletizer operator with loading pallets for consistent operation.
- Communicate warehouse operations to management verbally and in writing.
- Confirm product quality with Quality Assurance prior to expedited shipping.
- Ensure all products meet customer requirements.
- Inspect trailers before loading; load only clean, undamaged products.
- Engage dock locks onto trailer ICC bars or chock wheels.
- Maintain clear receiving and warehouse areas.
- Remove manufacturing refuse material from production floor.
- Aid in training new personnel.
- Follow all safety, working, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) rules.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Must possess or obtain an Industrial Truck Operator License.
- Must work in a safe, efficient manner following all safety procedures and use safety equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot small problems and seek input from management when needed.
- Willingness to ask for assistance when process unclear.
- Sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 60 pounds frequently and 80 pounds occasionally; two or more employees complete lifts >80 pounds.
- Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping occasional for pallet restacking and cleanup duties.
- Squatting, kneeling, crawling, twisting, turning for picking from floor and cleaning duties.
- Climbing, balancing, reaching for loading and unloading activities.
- Grasping and manipulation of hands and fingers frequently required.
- Notify supervision of any repairs or adjustments that affect product quality or food safety.
- Understand, observe, and comply with color‑coded container policy in production areas.
- Perform all duties necessary to meet company, customer, and government requirements and standards.
- Initiate actions to prevent nonconformities related to food safety and quality.
- Identify and record problems related to food safety and product quality.
- Control further processing or delivery of nonconforming product until corrected.
- Assume duties if absent; other employees with same skill level fill in.
Base pay range: $22 – $22 USD. Full range of medical, financial, and other benefits dependent on position available.
