Your New Role
  • Design and produce shop‑ready drawings for custom doors, cabinetry, and millwork components in Livingston, MT
  • Translate real‑world woodworking and production knowledge into accurate CAD and CAM files
  • Create, write, edit, and optimize CNC programs for efficient, error‑free production
  • Develop production‑ready drawings that account for tolerances, materials, joinery methods, finishes, and assembly requirements
  • Program and support CNC machinery using Cabinet Vision, Fusion 360, and Biesse bSolid software
  • Experience with comparable CNC design and programming software is acceptable
  • Troubleshoot CNC equipment issues and perform basic mechanical and tooling checks

    Partner with contractors and internal production teams to confirm specifications, materials, and timelines
  • Support production flow in a fast‑paced, project‑based manufacturing environment
  • Communicate technical information clearly with team members and provide guidance when needed
  • Maintain professional communication with customers and contractors throughout each project

  • Strong hands‑on woodworking background with experience building custom cabinetry, doors, or architectural millwork
  • Deep understanding of cabinetry construction methods, joinery, materials, and production workflow
  • Minimum 2 years of CNC programming experience beyond basic machine operation
  • Minimum 2 years of hands‑on CAD and CAM design experience in a manufacturing or woodshop environment
  • Preferred software experience includes Cabinet Vision, Fusion 360, and Biesse bSolid
  • Experience with comparable CNC design and programming software is acceptable
  • Ability to produce accurate, production‑ready drawings that reduce errors, delays, and rework
  • Strong conceptual understanding of how designs translate to real‑world production
  • Software proficiency is valued, but demonstrated woodworking and production expertise is the top priority
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a small shop environment where accountability and teamwork are essential
