General Laborer

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Woodworker to join a custom furniture manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you will be an integral part of our furniture production process, working alongside experienced craftspeople to create high-quality finished pieces.

• Perform precise sanding operations between coating applications to ensure smooth, professional finishes
• Assist in furniture assembly processes, following established procedures and quality standards
• Construct drawer boxes with attention to detail and accuracy
• Apply stains and finishes using various application methods, including spray techniques
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for materials and equipment

• Required Qualifications:
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques
• Demonstrated work ethic and reliability
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 100 pounds
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Safety-conscious mindset
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in furniture finishing, woodworking, or related field
• Familiarity with various finishing materials and techniques
• Basic knowledge of wood types and grain patterns
• Experience with hand and power tools

• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift
• Capable of repeated bending, lifting, and reaching
• Manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment safely
• Visual acuity to inspect surface quality and finish details

• Workshop/manufacturing setting
• Exposure to wood dust, finishing materials, and shop equipment
• Must wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
• Climate-controlled environment
