About

The Role

The Auto Body Painter prepares, refinishes, and delivers flawless finishes using basecoat/clearcoat systems (waterborne or solvent) in line with Collision Right standards. You’ll collaborate closely with body techs and production to keep repairs on time and on quality.

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare surfaces (clean, sand, mask) and apply primer, base, and clear coats
  • Mix and color-match paints to OEM specs
  • Buff/sand finished products as needed for a mirror-quality finish
  • Maintain spray guns, booths, and related equipment in top condition
  • Assist with minor body work prep as needed to ensure paint-readiness
  • Inspect finished work to meet/exceed quality standards
  • Follow all PPE, safety, and hazardous-materials protocols
What You’ll Bring
  • 1–3 years of automotive refinish/painting experience
  • Strong surface-prep, spray-gun, and paint-mixing skills (waterborne & solvent)
  • Excellent color perception and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow written/verbal instructions and prioritize workload

    Physical capability to lift 35 lbs. (occasionally up to 70 lbs.) and perform tasks involving kneeling, climbing, and reaching
  • Commitment to safety and a fast-paced, production-oriented environment
