Title:
Fabrication Tool & Die Maker – 2nd or 3rd shift
Reports To:Fabrication Supervisor
Status:Full Time/Hourly (40 hrs/week; additional hours as needed to support organization and individual goals)
Job Requirements:- High School diploma or equivalent
- Industrial Truck License
- Motor coordination, manual and finger dexterity
- Tool & Die Journeyman’s card or 8 yrs experience in trade
Advanced Blueprint Reading Skills
Job Summary:To design, build, and repair fabrication dies that are capable of producing quality plastic parts.
Essential Job Functions:- Design and build fabrication dies.
- Repair fabrication dies, on and off line.
- Maintain and repair all tooling machines.
- Inspect the first parts produced by each new fabrication die.
- Troubleshoot all existing fabrication dies.
- Inspect other toolmakers work.
- Research and develop new tooling jobs, and produce prototype samples.
- Complete all necessary paperwork.
