Job Description & How to Apply Below

You know the sound of a high-performance engine—the deep, rhythmic growl that signals power and precision. As a CNC Machinist in Grand Haven, you'll bring that power to life, machining large camshafts in our High Horsepower (HHP) area. This isn't simple button-pushing. You'll need to read CMM reports, make accurate tool changes, and ensure every part meets tough standards. Before moving to 2nd or 3rd shift, you'll train on 1st shift to get fully up to speed.

Night owls, this is your arena, where your skills keep the world turning, one camshaft at a time.

Located in Grand Haven, MI, our global headquarters specializes in manufacturing engine camshafts and balance shafts. Our reach spans the U.S., Mexico, Spain, and partnerships across China and India, delivering precision to the world's engines.

Your shift kicks off with reviewing CMM reports to ensure accuracy. You'll set up and operate CNC machines focused on big camshafts, swap out tooling as needed, monitor machine performance closely, and troubleshoot on the fly to keep production rolling.

We offer CNC Machinists:

  • $18/hour starting pay, higher based on experience
  • 2nd shift: 2PM - 11PM
  • 3rd shift: 11:00PM – 7:30AM
  • Weekly pay
  • Health insurance
  • 401(k) plan
  • Paid holidays
  • On-site training
  • Possible permanent hire based on performance
  • A $100 bonus for every friend you refer to us, plus an additional $25 bonus for your referral to WSI

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in CNC machining beyond simple operation
  • Ability to read and interpret CMM reports
  • Must be able to speak, write, and read basic English
  • Skilled in gauges, tool changes, and blueprint reading
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Ready to make your mark? Step into a role where your CNC expertise shapes the engines of tomorrow. Show us what you can do, your career starts here.
