Assembles metal products, such as pipe nipples that are connected to valves and devices. Testing of assembled trim, inspecting and packaging. Working in a cell environment on shop floor by performing the following duties.

Work Schedule: 3 pm - 11 pm

• Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.
• Fastens parts together with wrenches and pipe compound ensuring proper torque is used.
• Inspects parts for proper quality and ensures that a proper seal between parts is achieved.
• Tests trimmed and pre‑trimmed valves and devices according to approval laboratory guidelines.
• Inspects and packages trimmed valves according to Viking quality standards.
• Disassembles pre‑trimmed valves and packages according to work order instructions.
• Identifies scrap and salvage and records such for inventory purposes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
