Machine Operator​/Tool Maker Repair - 1st Shift

• Provide assistance to machine operators on new job development
• Ability to operate Tool room equipment with limited supervision to meet necessary quality and productivity requirements. Horizontal, vertical hones, OD/, surface grinders, centerless, and polishing.
• Ability to read most manufacturing and tooling prints, select and prepare necessary tools to meet print tolerances
• Utilize Toolroom inspection equipment - micrometers, calipers, indicators, contour tracers, microscope, and comparators
• Maintains cleanliness of work area
• Follows company safety guidelines
• Performs preventative maintenance when required
• Programming and setup of CNC machines.
• Knowledge of tools to perform turning, milling, drilling, and boring
• Responsible for own inspection of tooling.
• Strong Mathematical and problem solving skills
• All other duties as assigned

• Basic computer skills using Google Workspace (sheets, docs, drive, chat, Gmail, etc.)
• Solid math skills
• Mechanically inclined, shop classes or manufacturing process training is required
• Basic problem solving skills Ability to identify routine problem causation and correct routine problems
• Willingness to learn new areas of the business
