EHS Manager - Mattawan Area

Salary Range: $77,000 - $122,000 depending on experience

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations and company policies.
• Develop, implement, and manage EHS programs, policies, and procedures across manufacturing operations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, hazard analyses, and EHS audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for all employees.
• Manage hazardous waste, air emissions, wastewater, and other environmental permits and reporting.
• Monitor EHS performance metrics, analyze trends, and report on EHS objectives and targets.

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related scientific/technical field.
• 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage EHS programs and management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with experience in incident investigation and corrective action implementation.
• Professional certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) preferred.

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or experience applying continuous improvement methodologies to EHS processes.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex Workers' Compensation claims and implementing effective return-to-work programs.
• Proficiency with EHS management software platforms (e.g., Gensuite, Sphera, Cority).
• Advanced experience with multi-site EHS management in a manufacturing environment.
