Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies for inventory optimization and control, ensuring material availability while minimizing holding costs.
- Manage and optimize the end-to-end supply chain, including vendor selection, negotiation, and performance management.
- Coordinate material planning with production schedules to ensure timely delivery and prevent disruptions.
- Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and material issuance, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Implement and manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems to forecast demand and manage material flow.
- Monitor and control material costs, identifying opportunities for savings and process improvements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the materials management team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in materials management, supply chain, or operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory control, forecasting, and production planning.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to optimize inventory levels and improve material flow.
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
- Experience with ERP system implementation or significant module optimization projects.
- Proficiency in advanced data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
