Materials Manager - Plainwell Area

Salary Range: $78,000 - $118,000 depending on experience

• Develop and implement inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.
• Oversee material planning, forecasting, and scheduling to ensure timely availability for production.
• Manage supplier relationships for raw materials, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Direct warehousing, logistics, and material handling operations to ensure efficient material flow.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage material requirements and track inventory movement.
• Analyze material usage and identify opportunities for waste reduction and process optimization.
• Lead and mentor the materials team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency.

• Proven experience in supply chain management and logistics within a manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in inventory control, forecasting, and demand planning.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and material planning modules.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
• Demonstrated ability to optimize material flow and drive cost efficiencies.

• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with global supply chain management and international logistics.
• Advanced proficiency with specific ERP modules (e.g., SAP MM, Oracle SCM).
• Demonstrated experience in supply chain data analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
