Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.
- Oversee material planning, forecasting, and scheduling to ensure timely availability for production.
- Manage supplier relationships for raw materials, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Direct warehousing, logistics, and material handling operations to ensure efficient material flow.
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage material requirements and track inventory movement.
- Analyze material usage and identify opportunities for waste reduction and process optimization.
- Lead and mentor the materials team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Proven experience in supply chain management and logistics within a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in inventory control, forecasting, and demand planning.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and material planning modules.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize material flow and drive cost efficiencies.
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Experience with global supply chain management and international logistics.
- Advanced proficiency with specific ERP modules (e.g., SAP MM, Oracle SCM).
- Demonstrated experience in supply chain data analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
