Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance
  • Knowledge of safety rules and regulations required to prevent injury to team members and other staff in work area
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Ability to anticipate mechanical issues
  • Knowledge of diagnostic tools
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in writing, oral or diagram form
  • Ability and willingness to continue professional development through training programs as offered
  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to work well with a wide range of individuals
  • Ability to maintain a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 year degree in Automotive Technology and/or 1 year of professional automotive repair experience
  • Willing to complete manufacturer training
  • Work under the supervision of a lead technician for hands-on training
