Mechanic - St. Johns Area

Salary Range: $49,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on manufacturing machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical malfunctions in production systems.
• Execute repairs and replacements of faulty components to minimize downtime.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and ensure operational efficiency.
• Adhere to safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and quality standards during all maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed, parts used, and repairs completed.
• Collaborate with production teams to optimize equipment performance and reliability.

• Proven experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency in performing preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams for diagnostics.
• Strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Relevant technical certification or Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance or a related field.

• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
• Basic PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) troubleshooting skills.
• Welding and light fabrication experience.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
