About the role
As an SAP FICO Architect
, you will make an impact by architecting, designing, and optimizing SAP Finance & Controlling solutions across Internal Orders, Profitability Analysis, and Product Costing. You will be a valued member of the finance transformation team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, IT partners, and cross‑functional operational groups.
- Lead end‑to‑end SAP FICO architecture, focusing on Internal Orders, CO‑PA, and Product Costing.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable SAP configurations and solution designs.
- Drive process improvements across after sales, service management, and automotive finance functions.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment between SAP capabilities and business goals.
- Oversee system performance, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- 11+ years of hands‑on SAP FICO experience with deep expertise in Internal Orders, CO‑PA, and Product Costing.
- Strong domain knowledge in automotive after sales and service management logistics.
- Ability to translate business processes into SAP solutions with strong analytical and configuration skills.
- Proven experience leading solution design, workshops, and end‑to‑end implementations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
- Experience supporting or leading large‑scale SAP transformation initiatives.
- Strong integration understanding across logistics, service management, and financial modules.
- Ability to conduct training sessions, stakeholder workshops, and documentation development.
- Background optimizing SAP performance, identifying enhancement opportunities, and ensuring system stability.
- Advanced SAP certifications or automotive industry specialization.

The annual salary for this position is between $112,500 – $132,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program.
