We are searching for a Senior IT Manager to take the reins of our entire technology infrastructure within a specialized engineering and manufacturing company. This highly influential position demands a seasoned professional who can excel as the sole IT expert in a small person shop IT manager environment, with a critical focus on ERP and manufacturing systems. You will not only manage day-to-day operations but also architect and implement strategic technology roadmaps, ensuring our systems are robust, secure, and scalable to support our advanced manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the overall IT strategy, aligning technology initiatives with business goals and operational needs.
• Oversee the comprehensive management of all IT systems, including server infrastructure, network architecture, and endpoint security.
• Administer, optimize, and provide strategic direction for the company's ERP system, integrating it seamlessly with manufacturing and business processes.
• Implement and enforce advanced cybersecurity frameworks, conduct regular risk assessments, and manage incident response.
• Lead significant IT projects, from inception through completion, including major system upgrades, cloud migrations, and new technology rollouts.
• Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and negotiate contracts to ensure optimal service delivery and cost efficiency.
• Provide expert-level technical support and mentorship, serving as the ultimate technical authority for all IT-related challenges.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Recommended Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership or management capacity, preferably in manufacturing.
• Extensive experience with enterprise-level ERP systems, including deep understanding of configuration, integration, and optimization.
• Proven track record of leading complex IT projects and managing cross-functional technical initiatives.
• Expertise in Windows Server environments, Active Directory, virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), and Office 365 administration.
• Strong command of network infrastructure, including routing, switching, firewalls, and robust cybersecurity principles.
• Exceptional strategic planning, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a relevant field or a PMP certification.
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, MCSE, or ITIL.
• Experience with industrial automation or Operational Technology (OT) integration.
• Familiarity with compliance standards relevant to manufacturing or defense industries.
