Job Description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Strong proficiency in core Java development and troubleshooting
• Hands‑on experience with the Apache Struts framework for web application maintenance and support.
• Demonstrable experience in developing and maintaining scripts using JavaScript, Perl, and PHP.
• Perform maintenance and updates on legacy Power Builder applications, including Data Window modifications and Power Script debugging.
• Migration of legacy Power Builder applications to Java‑based platforms.
• Proficiency in DB2 and Maria
  
  DB that includes writing complex queries, schema and data modeling, application integrations and database migration.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments and command‑line tools.
• Good understanding of cloud technologies.

• Level 2 and Level 3 application support
• Coordinate with the offshore team.
• Focus on preventing failures through automated monitoring and alerts.
• Communicating the status of critical incidents and resolution timelines to customer.
• Identify business opportunities and suggest solutions.
• Documenting complex fixes and maintaining a centralized knowledge base.
• Application outage management, automation & ticket elimination strategy.

Base salary range: $90,000 – $100,000 per annum.
