Job Summary

The IT Desktop Support / Field Services Support role provides technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, software, and network connectivity for end users. This position requires strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently, and a proactive approach to managing IT assets and supporting various technologies in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and support cloud applications (Microsoft and third-party)
  • Troubleshoot Cisco VPN connectivity issues
  • Remediate and minimize anti-virus threats
  • Provide remote connection assistance and utilization support
  • Image and deploy Microsoft workstations
  • Install and configure software packages and security software, including patching
  • Troubleshoot and install printers; manage ink replacements
  • Provide occasional support for Mac OS and hardware
  • Test, monitor, analyze, diagnose, and resolve technology and process-related issues
  • Support IT-related activities for media teams, corporate events, and meetings
  • Troubleshoot issues and assign or escalate to the appropriate team or assignment group
  • Escort IT vendors on-site as needed
  • Manage documentation and records, support onboarding and training of new hires
  • Provide conference room technical support
  • Demonstrate flexibility in shifting priorities and managing multiple tasks
  • Handle all business matters with discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • Provide both remote and onsite technical assistance, including “smart hands” tasks
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum:
    High school diploma
  • 1–2 years of desktop support experience
  • Prior experience with computer/server/network hardware beyond imaging and deployment
  • Proficient in time management and task prioritization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities to handle changing priorities
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Certifications (if any)
  • No specific certifications required; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft) are a plus
