Job Summary: This role supports the stability and performance of enterprise network infrastructure by managing F5 Load Balancers and Cisco networking systems
. The Network Engineer will work onsite supporting data center environments, ensuring high availability, security compliance, and continuous operations. This position requires a full 40-hour week onsite with participation in an every-third-week 24/7 on-call rotation to maintain mission-critical network services.
F5 Engineer Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, implement, and maintain the organization’s F5 Load Balancer infrastructure.
- Inspect and troubleshoot data packets and TCP/IP network flow for both network and application traffic.
- Provide architecture and engineering expertise for security-compliant implementations, cloud integrations, and new project designs.
- Deliver technical support for security compliance initiatives and network engineering requirements.
- Build complex, highly available networking solutions across data centers and cloud environments.
- Support automation initiatives and delegate tasks to Tier 1 resources where appropriate.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of load balancing protocols, data center design, and F5 technologies.
- Utilize hands‑on experience with F5 Access Policy Manager (APM).
Cisco Network Engineer Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain internal and external networks supporting business applications.
- Troubleshoot routing, switching, and connectivity issues; document findings and ensure new installations are configured and tested before production deployment.
- Make security-focused decisions including data protection and encryption planning.
- Replace outdated hardware, apply software patches, and maintain network equipment.
- Provide user support and employee training related to networking functions.
- Document network operations through diagrams, reports, and architecture updates.
- Collaborate with internal teams to plan and execute network upgrades.
- Hands‑on support experience with F5 Load Balancers and Cisco network infrastructure
. - Experience supporting large-scale data center networking environments.
- Participation in on‑call rotations for production network support.
- Cloud network design or hybrid network architecture experience.
- Experience automating network tasks or delegating workflows to Tier 1 resources.
- Experience in network security compliance environments.
