Key Responsibilities- Manage full-cycle recruitment for production, skilled trades, and administrative positions.
- Administer employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as company policies and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding, including site-specific safety orientations.
- Administer performance management processes, including reviews, coaching, and goal setting.
- Oversee workers' compensation claims and promote a safe working environment.
- Develop and deliver training programs for employees and supervisors on various HR and safety topics.
- 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience, specifically within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws, including OSHA regulations and compliance in a production setting.
- Proven ability in full-cycle recruitment for a diverse range of roles, including production, skilled trades, and administrative positions.
- Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management in a blue‑collar workforce.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and experience with payroll processing.
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) and best practices.
- Fluency in a second language common in the local workforce.
- Experience with time and attendance systems and/or HRIS modules specific to a production environment.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience with high-volume recruitment for production and skilled trades roles.
