THIS IS A FULL-TIME, SEASONAL POSITION FOR THE SUMMER 2026 SEASON (APRIL THROUGH THE BEGINNING OF NOVEMBER). Help Create Memorable Dining Experiences On Mackinac Island. At Mission Point Resort, every exceptional guest experience, from a beautifully presented meal to seamless table service, shapes the unforgettable moments we are known for. As Mackinac Island’s only full-service, casually elegant resort, we are seeking enthusiastic and service-driven Dining Room Attendants to join our culinary team and help ensure our dining rooms operate smoothly and guests enjoy a polished, welcoming experience.

About

The Role

Dining Room Attendants play a key role in maintaining the flow and presentation of our dining areas. This hands-on position includes clearing and setting tables, assisting servers, supporting guest needs, and helping create a clean and inviting dining environment.

This position is ideal for a guest-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys teamwork, and takes pride in keeping dining operations seamless and welcoming.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience:

    Previous restaurant, hospitality, or food service experience preferred but not required
  • Professional Traits:
    Friendly, professional, detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to delivering exceptional service
  • Problem-Solving:
    Ability to assist efficiently with guest requests and support dining operations under pressure
  • Communication:
    Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with servers and kitchen staff
  • Physical Requirements:

    Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays or dishes up to 25 lbs for extended periods
  • Location Requirement:
    Must be able to live and work on Mackinac Island during the operating season
