Working Hours- Monday–Friday 7:30 am – 5:30 pm (variable upon office)
Support clerical, administrative, and secretarial functions for a very busy medical office.
What you will do- Check in/check out, answer phones and schedule appointments
- Manage referrals, prior authorizations and insurance verifications
- Set team schedules
- Collaborate with Clinical Lead and Manager
- Assist with patient grievances and support all front‑end operations
- High school graduate/GED required
- Education and/or training as medical secretary, medical receptionist, or medical assistant preferred
- Associate’s degree in a medical related concentration preferred
- 5 years or more in a clerical setting with extensive knowledge in insurances
- Prior oversight of a team
