Home Care Response Specialist / On-Call Caregiver - Guaranteed 40hrs Full-Time Pay

Our Caregivers are the heart and soul of what we do. At Com For Care , we like to celebrate successes and have fun while building meaningful relationships.

We’re hiring a Home Care Response Specialist (On-Call Caregiver) to support clients and our care team. You’ll be available during business hours 8:00am-6:00pm Monday - Friday to respond to callouts or cover open shifts, and occasional pre-scheduled shifts.

Guaranteed pay for 40 hours a week (even if scheduled/worked hours are less)

Typical workload: 25–35 hours per week, based on historical data

Must be willing to travel throughout our service area (up to 60 miles)

Weekdays:
On-call Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Weekend Rotation:
One weekend per month (Sat & Sun). Two paid weekdays off after weekend rotation. Weekend shift differential of +$0.50/hour.

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
• Provide assistance with personal care.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
• Handle meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
• Properly manage household needs.
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.

$18.50/hour + mileage reimbursement ($0.50/mile)

Overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40/week

Weekend bonus: +$0.50/hour

PTO (up to 72 hours), health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k)

Paid training & competitive pay for certifications

• CNA, HHA, or caregiver experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR certification (within 60 days; we’ll help)
• Ability to lift/transfer clients and provide personal care
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 60 miles
