Echocardiogram Technologist performs routine and emergency echocardiography and specialized echocardiography (including transesophageal echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms); assists with non-invasive cardiology testing (including EKGs and other diagnostic procedures); explains the purpose of procedures to patients and families as needed; performs all procedures in a timely manner. Maintains the patient procedure log and reports statistics to the Manager/Director as needed. Informs physicians of significant abnormalities and acts as liaison to the cardiologist to ensure tests are interpreted promptly.

• Bachelors/Associates degree that aligns with RDCS or RCS certification requirements
• Current BLS (AHA)
• Current RDCS by ARDMS required or RCS by CCI required
