This position provides the opportunity to have an incredible impact on our patients and the communities we serve. The Surgical Services Manager will provide leadership in day-to-day operation of the operating room, pre- and post-operative services, endoscopy and sterile processing. Strong collaboration with surgeons and staff will provide the ability to assure high quality, safe and efficient patient care with a strong focus on service excellence.

This position is supported by a talented and collegial team of leaders at Aspirus Keweenaw and across the UP region as well as a system functional team. Reports directly to the Director of Nursing at Aspirus Keweenaw.

Full Time; 1.0 FTE or 80 hours per pay period.

• Knowledge of patient care standards and management practices in a healthcare environment normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing/Nursing Management or Healthcare Administration; or Bachelor’s degree within a mutually agreed upon timeframe based on experience.
• Graduation from a school of nursing, valid Michigan Registered Nurse License; current CPR and ACLS.
• CNOR certification desired.
• At least 3 to 4 years of clinical surgical services experience.
• Prior nursing management experience of comprehensive surgical services and/or management of an ambulatory clinical setting required.
