Patient Care Coordinator
$20-$25/Hour DOE | Full-Time | High-Performance Front Office Role

What You’ll Do
  • Deliver top-tier patient service at every touchpoint
    , from check-in to checkout
  • At check-in:
    • Welcome patients warmly and create a positive start to their visit
    • Reappoint for their next recare before they leave
    • Collect over-the-counter balances with confidence
    • Verify and update personal and insurance details
  • At checkout:
    • Present treatment plans and associated fees clearly
    • Convert treatment recommendations into scheduled appointments
    • Provide after-visit documents (receipts, school notes, reminders)
  • Manage and work the recall/reappointment list to keep the schedule full
  • Monitor and minimize cancellations through proactive communication
  • Partner with the practice manager and clinical team to keep the daily schedule optimized and on goal
  • Answer phones promptly and professionally, turning inquiries into booked appointments
  • Support compliance and maintain organized, accurate patient records
  • Active DA License or Certificate in the state of New York
  • 2+ years of dental assisting experience preferred
  • Strong clinical, communication, and team skills
  • Comfortable with both patient care and front office support
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work independently or with a team
  • Be a reliable and dependable teammate by arriving on time and proactively learning the office technology and processes and procedures.
