Job Details:

• Work 12-hour variable shifts with 72 guaranteed hours biweekly

• Overtime paid after 80 hours worked in the second week

• Every other weekend and holiday schedule required

• ICU float preferred but not required

• No on-call or callback requirements

• Required certifications: MI RN License, BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS

• Minimum 2+ years emergency department experience required

• Epic charting experience required

• ECI Triage training and splinting skills needed

• Work in 10-bed emergency department with annual volume of 11,500 patients

• 2 RNs cover 10-bed ER with additional overlap 2-4 hours

• Trauma Level IV designation

• Any color scrubs acceptable

• Associate Degree or Certificate required, Bachelor's Degree preferred

• Must live outside a 50-mile radius

• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours

• May be placed on call for low census hours

This healthcare facility operates a 10-bed emergency department serving as a Trauma Level IV center with an annual volume of 11,500 patients. The facility maintains modern emergency care capabilities and utilizes Epic electronic health record systems. The emergency department is staffed with experienced nursing professionals and provides comprehensive emergency medical services to the surrounding community.
