As an Infection Preventionist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of infection control and prevention throughout our 100-bed sub-acute rehabilitation facility. • Develop, implement, and maintain infection control and prevention programs consistent with national standards and regulatory requirements

• Conduct risk assessments and surveillance activities to identify potential infection control issues

• Investigate and resolve infection control incidents, including outbreaks and hospital‑acquired infections

• Collaborate with healthcare staff to develop and implement effective infection prevention strategies

• Provide education and training to staff on infection prevention and control measures

• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and protocols related to infection control and prevention

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to reduce hospital‑acquired infections and improve patient outcomes

• Monitor and report infection rates and other relevant data to regulatory agencies and senior leadership

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing

• 1-2 years of experience in infection prevention or a related field preferred

• Strong knowledge of infection control principles and practices

• Excellent communication, education, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
