Job SummaryActs as a member of the care team, delivering quality direct patient care, performing basic skills per department guidelines, and communicating observations to healthcare team members.
Responsibilities- Provides direct patient care under direction of Unit Manager or Licensed Nurse, following unit policies.
- Direct day‑to‑day care of assigned residents/patients: dressing, bathing, transporting, feeding.
- Documents care per directed guidelines.
- Maintains patient environment and equipment, reports malfunctions.
- Completes required CNA educational hours.
- Participates in selected unit quality monitoring activities as directed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of State of Michigan approved CNA Training Course.
- CRT‑Nursing Assistant – LARA‑BCHS Michigan Department of Licensing & Regulatory Affairs, 90 days.
- Driver’s License, State of Michigan, upon hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification—AHA or ARC, 90 days.
