Qualifications- The City seeks candidates with a general background in municipal administration.
- The requirements include experience in building relationships within a municipal environment, understanding of governmental budgeting, a proven record of team building within an organization, outstanding communication skills, a humble mindset, an exemplary record of customer service based local government and a strong appreciation for resort living.
- The City prefers candidates who hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, or a related field. Strong consideration will be given to those candidates who take an active role in municipal organizations such as the Michigan Municipal Executives (MME).
- Foster positive community relations and unite relationships across the city and organization.
- Lead municipal administration in collaboration with the City Council.
