Key Responsibilities- Analyze production costs, COGS, and manufacturing variances to identify efficiency improvements.
- Develop and manage annual budgets and periodic forecasts for manufacturing operations.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, performance dashboards, and variance analyses for manufacturing leadership.
- Evaluate capital expenditure proposals, conduct ROI analysis, and track project performance.
- Perform inventory valuation, analysis of inventory levels, and assess potential obsolescence.
- Conduct product line and customer profitability analysis to support pricing and strategic decisions.
- Partner with operations teams to provide financial insights and drive cost reduction initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field.
- 3+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing cost accounting principles and variance analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights to support operational decisions.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) in a manufacturing context.
- Familiarity with cost accounting principles specific to manufacturing (e.g., standard costing, variance analysis).
- Understanding of manufacturing operational metrics (e.g., OEE, production yield) and their financial impact.
- Exposure to Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with capital expenditure (CAPEX) analysis and tracking for plant and equipment.
