Key Responsibilities- Analyze manufacturing costs, production variances, and COGS to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, specifically for production volumes and overheads.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, including actual vs. budget performance, for manufacturing operations and executive management.
- Conduct profitability analysis for products, product lines, and manufacturing segments.
- Evaluate capital expenditure requests (CAPEX) for new equipment or facility upgrades, performing ROI and payback period analysis.
- Monitor inventory valuation, turns, and obsolescence, providing insights to optimize working capital.
- Support strategic initiatives by providing financial analysis for make-or-buy decisions and operational efficiency projects.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Demonstrated experience with cost accounting principles in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, variance analysis, and performance reporting.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) commonly used in manufacturing operations.
- Experience in capital expenditure (Cap Ex) analysis and return on investment (ROI) calculations.
- Experience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and variance analysis in a production environment.
- Familiarity with supply chain finance and inventory management best practices.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for operational and financial reporting.
- Exposure to Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
