Key Responsibilities- Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and production overhead to identify trends and cost‑saving opportunities.
- Develop and manage annual operating budgets and financial forecasts for production departments.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and performance dashboards for manufacturing operations.
- Conduct profitability analysis for product lines, manufacturing processes, and customer segments.
- Evaluate capital expenditure requests, performing ROI and payback period analysis for new equipment and projects.
- Monitor inventory valuation, turns, and obsolescence, providing insights for working capital optimization.
- Collaborate with operations teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
- Demonstrated experience with cost accounting and variance analysis in a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for financial and operational data.
- Ability to develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and long‑range plans specific to manufacturing operations.
- Experience in presenting complex financial data and actionable insights to non‑financial stakeholders.
- Experience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) in a manufacturing setting
- Familiarity with cost accounting principles specific to manufacturing environments (e.g., standard costing, variance analysis)
- Understanding of supply chain finance and inventory management in a production setting
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for operational and financial reporting
