Overview of the Controller role:
- Assist with the day-to-day accounts payable/accounts receivable
- Month end closings, financial reporting, and coordinating of audits
- Assist with annual budget and forecasting processes
- Responsible for payroll taxes and fixed assets
- Review accounting and financial processes and provide recommendations for improvements to efficiency and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications for the Controller:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Expertise in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP's
- Proficiency with a major ERP
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize based on deadlines
