The OpportunityWe are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Mattawan that are seeking skilled Process Engineers. Key Responsibilities- Optimize existing manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to process deviations, equipment, or material flow.
- Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes or process modifications.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including SOPs, PFDs, and work instructions.
- Conduct root cause analysis for process failures and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Analyze process data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and ensure process stability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new processes and support production goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process optimization and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and data interpretation.
- Ability to develop, interpret, and optimize Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and process flow.
- Understanding of manufacturing safety regulations, quality standards, and continuous improvement principles.
- Advanced statistical analysis software proficiency (e.g., Minitab, JMP, R, Python)
- Experience with advanced automation, robotics, or Industry 4.0 technologies
- Proficiency in specific Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
