The OpportunityWe are partnering with organizations in DeWitt that are seeking Robotics Technicians. Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial robotic systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and software issues in robots.
- Program and re-program robots for new tasks, process adjustments, or optimization.
- Calibrate robot arms and end-of-arm tooling to ensure precision and accuracy.
- Install, configure, and commission new robotic equipment and work cells.
- Conduct routine inspections and safety checks on all robotic systems and associated equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance.
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to improve robotic processes and efficiency.
- Associate's degree in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent certifications.
- Proficiency in programming, troubleshooting, and performing maintenance on industrial robots (e.g., Fanuc, Kuka, ABB).
- Strong understanding and practical experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics and blueprints.
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands‑on experience in a manufacturing or industrial automation environment.
- Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python) for data acquisition or system integration.
- Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ether Net/IP, PROFINET).
- Ability to interpret and modify CAD drawings for robotic cell layouts or tooling.
- Experience with robot simulation software (e.g., KUKA.Sim, FANUC ROBOGUIDE).
