Senior Engineering Manager

• Location: Dundee, MI & Plano Willow Bend, TX

We are hiring for one of our prime clients seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead large capital (Capex) projects across the US and Canada. This role focuses on feasibility studies, front-end engineering design, and multi-disciplinary project execution in heavy industrial settings, including cement, aggregates, and related manufacturing operations.

• Promote a safety culture of “Zero by Choice” and integrate HS&E standards into all engineering activities
• Manage multi-million-dollar industrial capital projects (> $10M) from feasibility through design, layout, and construction
• Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams and interface with contractors, suppliers, and operations
• Develop optimal project designs focusing on lean technical concepts, constructability, and operational efficiency
• Prepare basic engineering documentation, general arrangement drawings, mass flow calculations, and technical appendices
• Conduct technical evaluations of bids and participate in supplier/contractor selection processes
• Review detailed engineering documents, conduct safety and operability assessments, and manage project risks
• Provide technical support to site teams during construction, commissioning, and start-up
• Implement innovative engineering solutions aligned with business objectives
• Demonstrate commitment to health, safety, and environmental compliance in all project activities

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Production Efficiency, or related field
• Experience:
• 5–7+ years in an industrial production setting (cement, aggregates, foundry/furnace, or other heavy industries)
• Proven experience in project management, design, and engineering in large-scale industrial projects

• Strong understanding of process equipment, material handling, and logistics systems
• Knowledge of engineering disciplines, civil and electrical principles, and construction fundamentals
