Job Description

As a Senior Controls Engineer, you will bring deep technical expertise and a broad skill set developed through 5 to 10 years of experience in the automation industry. This role demands a strong track record of engineering innovative, reliable automation solutions.

Responsibilities

* Engineer and develop innovative and reliable automation solutions.

* Program PLCs with advanced proficiency across platforms such as Siemens, GE, and Mitsubishi.

* Work with HMI systems including Maple, Ignition, and other related platforms.

* Utilize vision systems from Keyence, Cognex, Teledyne, and Dalsa.

* Implement and understand servo systems, particularly those from Siemens, IAI, and SMC.

* Communicate effectively and collaborate within a team-driven environment.

* Take initiative as a self-motivated professional while working closely with others.

* Contribute to a culture built on teamwork, excellence, and commitment.

Essential Skills

* 5 to 10 years of engineering experience in the automation industry.

* Advanced PLC programming experience (Siemens, GE, Mitsubishi).

* Strong communication and collaboration skills.

* Proven team player with a solutions-focused mindset.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

* Experience with Fanuc robots.

* Familiarity with HMI Systems such as Maple and Ignition.

* Custom machine design experience.

* Ability to travel 25-30%.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Walker, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $53.00/hr.
