Volks Resources is hiring a highly skilled RAN Field Integration Engineer to support major 4G/5G field deployment and integration activities across Michigan. This role is essential in ensuring successful network rollouts, troubleshooting, and high‑quality integration of Ericsson RAN equipment.

As a RAN Field Integration Engineer, you will work hands‑on with Ericsson 4G/5G technologies, performing installations, integrations, and detailed troubleshooting in live field environments. You will manage end‑to‑end integration tasks on multiple BBU platforms while supporting automated and manual scripts for site activation. The position involves extensive coordination with field teams, transport engineers, and test personnel to ensure seamless service delivery.

You will also validate network performance through call testing activities, including critical E911 and NEA testing. This role offers the opportunity to work on a long‑term, high‑impact telecommunications program with immediate start availability.

• Perform installation, commissioning, and integration of Ericsson BBU units (5216/6630/6648/6651/6610)
• Utilize Ericsson Site Integrator (ESI) for auto integrations using ECI scripts
• Conduct manual integrations using CV restore and SIF files
• Troubleshoot 4G LTE and 5G RAN issues, including frequency‑specific diagnostics
• Identify and resolve Backhaul and fiber loss issues in minimal time
• Carry out automated SRS call testing, E911 testing, and NEA testing
• Document field activities, integration results, and issue resolutions accurately

• Strong hands‑on experience with 4G LTE and 5G Ericsson RAN technologies
• Deep understanding of Ericsson band frequencies and field troubleshooting
• Proficiency in Backhaul transport and fiber loss identification
• Proven experience with Ericsson BBU hardware installation and integration
• Skilled in using ESI tools and executing automated integration scripts
• Ability to perform manual BBU integrations and configuration restoration
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills in field environments
• Ability to start immediately and work onsite across Michigan

• Experience with multi‑vendor RAN environments
• Familiarity with transport networks and routing basics
• Understanding of RF optimization principles
• Previous participation in major US telecom deployment projects
• Experience generating MOPs or field integration documentation
