Salary Range: $67,000 - $106,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities- Develop and refine mechanical designs for manufacturing processes using CAD software.
- Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles to optimize product designs.
- Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and Bills of Material (BOMs).
- Conduct feasibility studies, stress analyses, and simulations to validate design concepts.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure design implementation and resolve issues.
- Participate in prototyping, testing, and root cause analysis of design-related failures.
- Manage design changes and product lifecycle documentation throughout the development process.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, CATIA, Creo) for 3D modeling and technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, sheet metal fabrication) and material science.
- Experience applying Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
- Ability to perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and design validation.
- Experience with advanced simulation software (FEA, CFD).
- Demonstrated knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and validation of designs.
- Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
