Employment Type: Contract (6 Months, Potential for Extension or Permanent Hire)

Role Overview:

BEPC is seeking a Quality Engineer to support inspections and quality assurance activities in an aerospace manufacturing environment. This role will focus on blueprint reading, precision measurements, and ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and eager to grow within a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections and quality assurance testing on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure product compliance.
• Conduct measurements using gages and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
• Support quality processes in accordance with AS9100 aerospace standards.
• Assist with the development and execution of inspection plans and test models.
• Document results and prepare quality reports for management review.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to address issues and implement improvements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in quality engineering, inspection, or related aerospace/manufacturing role.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading.
• Ability to perform precise measurements using gages; CMM experience/programming is a plus.
• Knowledge of GD&T principles and their application.
• Familiarity with aerospace quality standards, specifically AS9100.
