Salary Range: $68,000 - $102,000 depending on experience

The OpportunityWe partner with manufacturers across Coopersville seeking Quality Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement quality control plans and inspection procedures.
- Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Analyze manufacturing data using statistical process control (SPC) to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process and disposition of non-conforming material.
- Participate in new product development (NPD) to ensure quality requirements are integrated into design and production.
- Perform internal and supplier quality audits to verify compliance with standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce defects.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven proficiency in core quality tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, FMEA, MSA, Control Plans, Root Cause Analysis).
- Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
- Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
- Experience with supplier quality management and audits.
- Familiarity with specific industry quality standards (e.g., ISO 13485, AS9100, IATF 16949).
