Design Engineer

Our client is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to spearhead the development of next‑generation mechanical products from early concepting through validation, refinement, and full‑scale production. • Stock options

• Lead the design and development of new mechanical product platforms and enhancements to existing systems.
• Partner with cross‑functional engineering teams to drive concepts through modeling, prototyping, testing, and production release.
• Oversee verification and validation efforts, ensuring rigorous testing for performance, reliability, and safety.
• Support new product launch activities, contributing to documentation, handoff, and manufacturing readiness.

• 5+ years of professional mechanical engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (required).
• Proven experience developing FMEAs, test plans, DFM principles, tolerance stack‑ups
  , and other key product development documentation.
• Strong technical foundation in:

• Heat transfer, fluid flow, and thermodynamics
• HVAC or appliance system design
• Pressure vessel design and material selection

• Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as sheet metal fabrication, injection moulding, casting, and machining
  .
• Experience designing for high‑volume, cost‑efficient manufacturing environments
  .
• Ability to rapidly understand new technologies and drive process and product improvements.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive, self‑directed mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
